Mandatory sign-in with Check In Qld app
From Saturday, 1st May, as per Queensland Government directions, everyone visiting a hospitality venue in Queensland will be required to sign in using the 'Check In Qld' app.
This mandatory system will provide an improved and consistent sign-in process throughout the state, and will minimise the spread of COVID, effectively protecting our community and personal health. Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk recently highlighted the benefits of us all using the app "...by mandating the Check In Qld app across the hospitality sector, the government will have a convenient, coordinated, and effective way to keep Queenslanders COVID safe and ensure Queensland Health has access to customer information quickly for contact tracing if needed".
At the Club, the Check In Qld app will replace our normal sign-in process. You will be able to sign in 2 ways at the Club:
We recommend downloading the app in advance from your preferred App Store.
Using this digital check-in means your details will be stored securely by the Queensland Government for 56 days to assist with COVID-19 contact tracing (if required). The Boat Club is not able to access, use or distribute the information you provide to the app.
