Standard Conditions

Applicable to all promotions unless stated otherwise.

• The promotion is conducted under the guidelines for category 4 promotional games of the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Act 1999.
• Whilst all care will be taken, Hervey Bay Boat Club will not be responsible for any malfunctions or problems relating to the Odyssey system or associated software systems.
• Hervey Bay Boat Club shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
• Hervey Bay Boat Club accepts no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, system failure, theft or destruction and reserves the right to take appropriate action as required on any such matters.
• In the case of the intervention of any outside act, that hinders Hervey Bay Boat Club’s ability to proceed with the promotion on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures or natural disasters, management may in its absolute discretion take any action that may be available to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the promotion.

• Management reserves the right to change, alter and end the promotion at their discretion.

 LUCKY BUDDHA – MAJOR WHOLE VENUE PROMOTION

Terms & Conditions
General
1.       The Lucky Buddha promotion period is from 1pm-4pm on Sundays during the month of July 2024 (7-July, 14-July, 21-July & 28-July 2024).
2.      All members are eligible to enter the Lucky Buddha Draws. Financial members who use their member card during gaming play are eligible to enter the promotion in the following way:
a.        Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs): One (1) virtual entry will be automatically generated with every $10 turnover via any gaming machine with member card inserted throughout the month, member must insert their card into a gaming machine, one (1) virtual entry will be automatically generated with every $5 spent on food & beverages throughout the month & swipe at the kiosk from 1pm to validate their entries on each draw date (7-July, 14-July, 21-July & 28-July 2024).

3.        The Lucky Buddha Draws are conducted on Sundays during July 2024 every 30 minutes from 2pm-4pm as below.

4.     A proxy cannot be used on behalf of the member in the event they are not able to attend on the day or time of the promotion.
5.     Members must be present on the listed date and times to redeem their prize.
6.     If a member does not attend the promotion during the promotional period, they forfeit their claim to the offer.
7.      Additional proof of identity may be requested at the discretion of management.

 
Process
8.     All members are eligible to visit the venue on the promotion day during the advertised promotion times to enter the Lucky Buddha Draws. Members can earn entries at any time throughout the month via virtual entry automatically generated with every $10 gaming turnover, $5 POS spend & kiosk swipe from 1pm on the draw date.

9.     Members must validate their entries on each draw date by swiping their membership card at the kiosk.

10.      The Lucky Buddha Draws are conducted every 30 minutes on Sundays from 2pm-4pm with prizes available as below:

 

11.        Winners will be selected at random by way of a virtual draw from the Odyssey E-Draw program. The member must be present in the club at the time of the draw. Each member drawn will be given two (2) minutes from the time they have been first called over the in-house PA System, acknowledge their presence to the staff member conducting the draw. Each member must produce their membership card to be eligible to win a prize.

12.      The selected member is then invited to select a designated amount of coin cutouts from the promotional display that will add up to their cash prize - up to $1,000. Prizes amounts and number of coin cutouts for each draw time listed in tables above.

13.      Once a coin cutout has been selected, it is removed from the prize pool for the remainder of the promotion on that draw date.

14.      At the final draw time of 4pm, the selected member will win the amount correlated with the remainder of the cutouts.

15.      Any entry that remains unclaimed after a period deemed appropriate by the staff member conducting the draw, and not less that 2 minutes from the time the winning entry is first called over the in-house PA system, a redraw will be conducted.

16.      On claiming the prize, the winner accepts full responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to the prize. The club and staff accept no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to prizes once claimed. The prize is only available on the day of the promotion only and will not be accepted beyond this date.

17.       No employee or director/committee member of the venue are eligible to enter this promotion.

18.      Entertainers, band member affiliates and other contract workers cannot enter & are not eligible to win while on promises carrying out contracted work.

19.      Conduct of the ‘Promotion’ including decision on eligibility of persons to enter, shall be the responsibility of the Club, whose decision in all matters shall be final. No correspondence shall be entered into.

20.     The Club reserves the right to discontinue or modify this promotion at any time.

21.      All outcomes are final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

2.      All members are eligible to enter the Multiplier Madness Draws. Financial members who use their member card during gaming play are eligible to enter the promotion in the following way:
a.        Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs): One (1) virtual entry will be automatically generated with every $10 turnover via any gaming machine with member card inserted throughout the month.
