Standard Conditions
Applicable to all promotions unless stated otherwise.
- The promotion is conducted under the guidelines for category 4 promotional games of the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Act 1999.
- Whilst all care will be taken, Hervey Bay Boat Club will not be responsible for any malfunctions or problems relating to the Odyssey system or associated software systems.
- Hervey Bay Boat Club shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
- Hervey Bay Boat Club accepts no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, system failure, theft or destruction and reserves the right to take appropriate action as required on any such matters.
- In the case of the intervention of any outside act, that hinders Hervey Bay Boat Club’s ability to proceed with the promotion on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures or natural disasters, management may in its absolute discretion take any action that may be available to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the promotion.
- Staff of Hervey Bay Boat Club are ineligible to enter the promotion.
- Management will not be liable for any unauthorised use of a member's membership card
- Management reserves the right to change, alter and end the promotion at their discretion.
- Management’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Participation in promotions indicates acceptance of the terms and conditions.

- Unless stated otherwise, winners must be present to claim a prize.

APRIL EXCLUSIVE BONUS DAYS
Terms & Conditions
General
1. The April Exclusive Bonus Days promotion will take place during the below promotional periods:
a. Sunday 14th April 2024 from 10am – 4pm; and
b. Sunday 28th April 2024 from 10am – 4pm
2. Selected Hervey Bay Boat Club members who received the April 2024 mailout are eligible for the promotion.
3. Each member was sent instructions on how to receive a total of two (2) Bonus Day entry tickets, one (1) ticket valid for each draw date.
4. Invited members are required to swipe at the members kiosk between 10am and 4pm on each promotional draw day to receive their one (1) printed entry ticket for that corresponding draw day. Members are to then place their entry ticket into the barrel located at the cashier to enter.
5. It is the members responsibility to ensure that they place the correct ticket into the promotional barrel on the correct draw days to enter.
6. Lost, stolen, damaged or illegible tickets may not be replaced.
7. Prior to the draws, the promotion host will spin the barrel, ensuring all entry tickets have been shuffled.
8. The promotion host will then randomly select one (1) entry ticket from the barrel to reveal the winner.
9. Members must be present on the draw day and times to win.
10. Members selected from the barrel have two (2) minutes to claim their prize from the specified draw area. If the selected winner does not present themselves to the promotion host within the two (2) minutes of being announced, they forfeit their claim to the prize and a redraw will take place until an eligible winner has been found.
11. It is the responsibility of eligible members to position themselves within the gaming area of the Hervey Bay Boat Club where they can hear the public-address announcements.
12. Members must present their membership card to the promotion host when claiming a prize. Additional proof of identity may be requested at the discretion of management.
13. A total of two (2) winners will be drawn each promotional draw day, with one (1) member drawn at approximately 3pm and 4pm.
14. Each member selected will win $500 cash.
15. Members can only win once each promotional draw day. Once a winner has claimed their prize, their entry ticket will not be returned to the barrel for the following draw that promotional draw day.
16. All entry tickets will be discarded at the conclusion of each promotional draw day and will not be retained for any future draws.
17. The maximum total promotional prize pool is $2,000.
