TAKE THE BUNNY OR RUN – MAJOR PROMOTION
Terms & Conditions
General
1. The Take the Bunny or Run promotion period is from 3pm-5pm on Sundays from Sunday 9th March to Sunday 20th April 2025 (9-Mar, 16-Mar, 23-Mar, 30-Mar, 6-Apr, 13-Apr & 20-Apr 2025).
2. All members are eligible to enter the Take the Bunny or Run Minor Draws. Financial members who use their member card during gaming play are eligible to enter the promotion in the following way:
2a. Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs): One (1) virtual entry will be automatically generated with every $20 turnover via any gaming machine with a member card inserted from 10 am Friday, March 7th & Members to validate entries by using the card in the venue 2 hours prior to the draws each draw date.
2b. Point of Sale (POS): One (1) virtual entry will be automatically generated with every $10 spent on food & beverage from 10 am Friday, March 7th & Members to validate entries by using the card in venue 2 hours prior to the draws each draw date.
2c. Virtual Entries will accumulate from March 7th & remain in the barrel until the end of the promotion on Sunday 20th April.
3. The Take the Bunny or Run Minor Draws are conducted on Sundays from Sunday 9th March to Sunday 20th April every 30 minutes from 3pm-5pm.
4. Winning members of the Take the Bunny or Run Minor Draws become finalists to enter the Take the Bunny or Run Major Draw.
5. The Take the Bunny or Run Major Draw is conducted on Sunday 20th April at 5:30pm.
6. Members must be present on the listed date and times to redeem their prize.
7. Additional proof of identity may be requested at the discretion of management.
Process
8. All members are eligible to visit the venue on the promotion days during the advertised promotion times to enter the Take the Bunny or Run Minor Draws. Members can earn entries at any time throughout the promotion period via virtual entry automatically generated with every $20 gaming turnover & $10 POS spend.
9. Members must validate entries by using the card in venue 2 hours prior to the draws each draw date
10. The Take the Bunny or Run Minor Draws are conducted every 30 minutes on Sundays from 3pm-5pm with winning members choosing to ‘Take the Bunny’ or ‘Run’ to reveal their cash prize as below:
11. Winners will be selected at random by way of a virtual draw from the Odyssey program. The member must be present in the club at the time of the draw. Each member drawn will be given two (2) minutes from the time they have been first called over the in-house PA System, to acknowledge their presence to the staff member conducting the draw. Each member must produce their membership card to be eligible to win a prize.
12. Any entry that remains unclaimed after a period deemed appropriate by the staff member conducting the draw, and not less than 2 minutes from the time the winning entry is first called over the in-house PA system, a redraw will be conducted.
13. The selected member is invited to choose to ‘Take the Bunny’ or ‘Run’.
14. Take the Bunny: The member will win the guaranteed cash amount revealed under the Golden Egg. Once revealed, the Golden Egg prize is removed and not used again, with a new cash amount selected at random.
15. Run: The member will shake & roll the dice from a cup into a box and select the corresponding number of Bunny cutouts from the prize board. The member will be awarded the total cash amount they revealed.
16. At the end of each draw, all Bunny cutouts will be taken down and reshuffled and returned to the prize board in time for the next draw.
17. All winning members of the minor draws become finalists and gain entry to the Major Draw.
18. If, at the end of the Weekly Minor Draws (Sunday 20th April), the total amount given away is less than $7,000, an additional draw will be added to make up the difference for a total of $10,000 given away for the whole promotion.
19. The Take the Bunny or Run Major Draw is conducted at 5:30pm on Sunday 20th April 2025 with winning members selecting a carrot in a box to reveal their instant cash prize as below:
20. Winners will be selected at random using a random number generator. The member must be present in the club at the time of the draw. Each member drawn will be given two (2) minutes from the time they have been first called over the in-house PA System, to acknowledge their presence to the staff member conducting the draw. Each member must produce their membership card to be eligible to win a prize.
21. Any entry that remains unclaimed after a period deemed appropriate by the staff member conducting the draw, and not less than 2 minutes from the time the winning entry is first called over the in-house PA system, a redraw will be conducted.
22. The selected member is then invited to select a box containing a carrot. The same process will be followed until 6 finalists have been drawn and selected their box. The finalists then pull the carrot out of their box in unison to reveal their prize.
23. On claiming the prize, the winner accepts full responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to the prize. The club and staff accept no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to prizes once claimed. The prize is only available on the day of the promotion only and will not be accepted beyond this date.
24. No employees of the venue are eligible to enter this promotion.
25. Conduct of the ‘Promotion’ including decision on eligibility of persons to enter, shall be the responsibility of the Club, whose decision in all matters shall be final. No correspondence shall be entered into.
26. The Club reserves the right to discontinue or modify this promotion at any time.
Standard Conditions
27. The promotion is conducted under the guidelines for category 4 promotional games of the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Act 1999.
28. Whilst all care will be taken, Hervey Bay Boat Club will not be responsible for any malfunctions or problems relating to the Odyssey Gaming system or associated software systems.
29. Hervey Bay Boat Club shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
30. Hervey Bay Boat Club accepts no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, system failure, theft or destruction and reserves the right to take appropriate action as required any such matters.
31. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, that hinders Hervey Bay Boat Club’s ability to proceed with the promotion on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures or natural disasters, management may in its absolute discretion take any action that may be available to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
32. Staff of Hervey Bay Boat Club are ineligible to enter the promotion.
33. Management will not be liable for any unauthorised use of a member's membership card
34. Management reserves the right to change, alter and end the promotion at their discretion.
35. Management’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
36. Participation in promotions indicates acceptance of the terms and conditions.
