Marina Square is a joint development project created by the Hervey Bay Boat Club and Club Property Solutions.
The resulting complex - centred around a 144 room, 17 storey, international standard hotel - will include a cafe, function centre and rooftop bar, boasting sensational views overlooking the Urangan Marina, Great Sandy Strait and Fraser Island.
The $60m project will boost tourism, create over 200 jobs and grow the Hervey Bay region.
Marina Square is earmarked for 1.57 ha of state-owned land currently leased to Hervey Bay Boat Club, with construction anticipated to begin mid-2022.
