GAIL & THE BOAT CLUB RAISED OVER $6,000 FOR THE HOSPICE "HANG YA BOSS OUT TO DRY" CAMPAIGN
Gail's a director of The Boat Club and when we put the call out for volunteers Gail gladly accepted the challenge.
The Hospice were asking for local business volunteers to be raised above their comfort zone, then phone a friend to donate money, before they are brought back down to ground level.
Gail's target was to raise $3,000 and GAIL raised an awesome $6,000+ and growing.
Gail wants to thank the people at the Boat Club's raffle night plus the Zonta breakfast who donated, and essentially the many very generous people who donated online directly to the Hospice. Plus a big thanks to the Boat club Team who also helped out.
Well done Gail! Top effort!

BELOW IS HOW IT ALL STARTED
Gail and the Hervey Bay Boat Club are raising funds for Fraser Coast Hospice because they provide a much needed fee-free inpatient palliative care service in our community for people over the age of 18 who have a terminal illness.
Gail has been an avid supporter of the hospice well before they opened their doors. Gail is also a director Hervey Bay Boat Club a long term supporter of the Hospice.
The difference they have made to so many clients and their families is just extraordinary and there are many people who will benefit from the service into the future.
But to be able to continue to provide this service, Fraser Coast Hospice needs our communities help to raise opertional funds. I’ve put my hand up to be hung out to dry in a cherry picker at Hang Ya Boss Out to Dry on Friday 8th March 2024 in the Hospice grounds at 222 Urraween Road, URRAWEEN. I need to raise a minimum of $3000 to get down, so please support Fraser Coast Hospice by donating to my CrowdRaiser, as I don’t want to be left hanging!
