Friday 27 June, 7.30pm
Hervey Bay Boat Club Cinema
After the Quintet's performance, enjoy time for a meal or drink before the screening of the award-winning documentary Mozart’s Sister at 7:30pm in the Boat Club Cinema.
This captivating film uncovers the remarkable but little-known story of Maria-Anna Mozart, who, for the first 16 years of her life, shared the stage and acclaim with her brother Wolfgang as musical partners before royalty and the elite of Europe.
The film investigates why Maria-Anna was forced from the public eye and what became of her music, offering a fascinating glimpse into her lost legacy.
Directed by Madeleine Hetherton-Miau and produced by Rebecca Barry, Mozart’s Sister is a moving musical-mystery not to be missed.
Movie tickets are not available from the cinema and must be purchased online via ARCO's website. Please use the link below.
