Enjoy a short, high-energy display by the QPP&D, guaranteed to captivate audiences of all ages. Whether you’re a lover of music, tradition, or simply looking for a unique afternoon out, this event promises unforgettable entertainment in a beautiful waterfront setting.

The Queensland Police Pipes & Drums (QPP&D) stand among the few full-time professional pipe bands in Australia, renowned for their musical excellence and commitment to community. Their performances bring an air of tradition and pageantry to major ceremonies including QPS recruit graduations, Anzac Day, National Police Remembrance Day, and official state events.

But QPP&D is more than just a band—they are passionate ambassadors for positive community engagement. Through music, they foster strong relationships between the Queensland Police Service and the public, performing at charitable and community events across the state.

QPP&D also nurtures the next generation of musicians through the Queensland Police Juvenile Pipes & Drums (QPJP&D), offering free instruction to youth aged 8-18 at the historic Old Museum Building in Bowen Hills. Young participants build life skills—discipline, teamwork, respect, and commitment—while learning from seasoned professionals.

The band’s outreach extends to retirement villages, where they combine music with vital crime prevention education, and to schools, where their “Kops in Kilts” and “School Rocks” programs inspire students. QPP&D is also deeply involved with at-risk youth, using the power of music to break down barriers, encourage teamwork, and promote healing and focus.

We look forward to seeing you here!
