This Tuesday, March 25, 2025, the Boat Club will mark a significant milestone as its beloved Trivia Night celebrates its 21st anniversary. Launched in March 2004, this event was born out of a desire to bring excitement to Tuesday evenings in Hervey Bay, which were previously quiet and uneventful.
Greg Scott, a Director of the Boat Club, was the initial host of Trivia Night, working closely with Wes, the mastermind behind the questions and answers. Together, they crafted a fun and jovial atmosphere that has captivated audiences for two decades. Their collaborative effort transformed Tuesday nights into a vibrant gathering of trivia enthusiasts, knowledge nerds, and fun-seekers.
Today, FREE TUESDAY TRIVIA NIGHT at the Boat Club is more dynamic than ever. With a record number of teams participating, the event now features high-tech video screens and enhanced sound systems, elevating the experience to new heights. The stunning harbour view from the Main Lounge adds an extra layer of charm, making it the perfect setting for a night of friendly competition and camaraderie.
To commemorate this special occasion, the Boat Club is pulling out all the stops. In addition to the usual cash and prizes for the top three teams, an extra 21 prize vouchers will be up for grabs on the night.
